Savannah Friends of Music

We welcome everyone in the Savannah region to join us as we support music education and quality musical productions in our community.  

With so little focus on music in our schools today, programs sponsored by Savannah Friends of Music are especially important in introducing our young people to its joys.

Here are some of the ways we fulfil our mission:

• Provide music scholarships that allow Armstrong Atlantic Youth Orchestra members to study the instrument of their choice with a private instructor
• Support the Armstrong Atlantic Youth Orchestra
• Award summer music camp scholarships to high school students
• Promote educational programs in our schools
• We also sponsor quality musical ensembles and projects such as
  • Savannah Music Festival
  • Savannah Philharmonic
  • Savannah Children's Choir
  • And many others!
