Exposure to quality music has proven to improve children's grades in school and to raise graduation rates. Our goal is to provide local children with the opportunity to learn and experience the wonders of fine music.
Scholarships
We raise funds to provide music lessons, musical instruments, and summer music camp tuitions to elementary and high school students.
Programs
Produce children's puppet programs in elementary schools to provide an introduction to an orchestra and its instruments. Sponsor performance visits to schools by musicians to allow children to hear fine music, meet musicians, and see and hear them play live..
Sponsorships
Sponsor high quality musical events in Savannah to promote exposure all over our community. In addition, sponsor the Atlantic Armstrong State University Youth Orchestra to keep youngsters involved in music lessons and development of their talents.
